Dear Readers,
My apologies for going MIA in January and not communicating since.
I
had a heart attack in mid-January—I like to say that Pluto went into
Aquarius and I had a heart attack but alas, I cannot blame it on the
stars. I’ve been in recovery ever since, and for several months of that
process I developed an aversion to technology of any sort. Email, text
messages, computers, phones—you name it. I trusted my instincts and when
I was ready I finally made it back online.
In those
intermediary months, many of you got in touch and asked what was
happening. Again, my apologies. I was truly incapacitated and unable to
deal with a lot of responsibilities. One of the big decisions of the
last six months was to discontinue The Aquarium Age. I started writing the column for the East Bay Express in 1996 and it’s been twenty-eight Earth years, or in astrological years, nearly a Saturn cycle.
I
truly appreciate those readers who have been loyal to the column and to
my writing. We’ve been through a lot of astro-changes in the last many
years. Sometimes it feels as if nothing has changed and at other times,
it feels like everything has shifted into a new, and barely
recognizable, dimension. Yet as the planetary cycles teach us, we’ve
been through this before and we will make it through once again.
Thank you all for your patience and your kindness, as well as for your loyalty through The Aquarium Age Saturn cycle. May that patience, kindness, and loyalty be returned to you many, manyfold.
